Capital Area Food Bank – Food Drive 0

When: Saturday, July 25th
The Capital Area Food Bank, Boys Scouts of America, K-Eye 42 and Randalls are once again teaming up again this year to participate in “Scouting for
Food 2009 – Keep Texas Fed” campaign.
Cub Scouts from local Pack 365 (Cactus Ranch Elementary) will be walking the Behrens Ranch neighborhood on Saturday morning, July 25th collecting canned and non-perishable food donations from doorsteps for direct delivery to the Round Rock Serving Center.
If you are interested in participating, please place non-perishable food in a bag on your doorstep on Saturday, July 25th by 10:00am (if you use a plastic bag, we will recycle it) and a Cub Scout will stop by and pick it up.
Food most in need (but we will take anything you can donate):
- Canned meat, stew, tuna, and chili (pop tops preferred)
- Canned vegetables
- Pasta and pasta sauce
- Baby Food and formula
- Beans and rice
- Healthy cereals
- Peanut butter
If you have any questions regarding the food drive, please don’t hesitate to contact Eric Pav (epav@austin.rr.com).
