UPCOMING ROUND ROCK CITY COUNCIL AND RRISD BOARD OF TRUSTEE RACES – PLEASE GO OUT AND VOTE!

EARLY VOTING: NOW until Saturday, May 2^nd.

Behrens Ranch residents, the Behrens Ranch HOA Board and Advisory Committee would like to remind all residents of the upcoming election on Saturday, May 9^th.  Both a City Council seat as well as 2 RRISD Board of Trustee Seats are on the ballot. As many of you are fully aware, it is very important that Behrens Ranch continue to build strong relationships and open communications with members of the Round Rock City Council and the RRISD Board of Trustees.  Just look at the past year where we leveraged our influence and relationships with the City Council to gain control of our HOA and to get the open space in our neighborhood protected as park land for the city.  Also, we were able to work with many members of the RRISD board to reduce the overcrowding in Cactus Ranch next school year.  So it is very important for our neighborhood to continue to be visible in this election and show that we are informed, care about these races, and VOTE.

As a neighborhood, Behrens Ranch has strived to stay informed in those issues that affect our neighborhood. We need to show these candidates that we do care about the future of our City and School district and very interested in who we vote for to make those tough decisions on our behalf. We strongly encourage all residents to get out and VOTE either during EARLY VOTING (until Saturday, May 2^nd) or VOTE on Saturday, May 9^th. This election is expected to be very light, so EVERY VOTE COUNTS.

Upcoming Election Candidate Forum – City Council and RRISD School Board Races

When: Tuesday, April 28th

Where: Behrens Ranch Amenity Center

Time: 7:00pm

The Behrens Ranch and Hidden Glen HOAs are co-sponsoring a moderated candidate forum for the upcoming Round Rock City Council and Round Rock Independent School District Board of Trustees races. This meeting will allow each candidate to discuss their platforms as well as answer questions. This is the neighborhood’s opportunity to meet the candidates and hear from them directly regarding their views, opinions, and ideas. All residents are encouraged to attend to learn more about the candidates running in the May 9th election. It’s important that Behrens Ranch be well represented at this forum, as we want to show these candidates that the Behrens Ranch neighborhood is well informed, involved, and committed in and around the community.
