The Behrens Ranch Holiday Party is this Sunday, December 2nd from 4-7pm. It is a come and go as your schedule permits. Santa will be making an appearance from 4:30-6:30 and there will be one of our fellow Behren’s Ranch neighbors providing professional photography with Santa. Drinks and light finger sandwiches will be provided. If your address ends in an even number, please bring a dessert. If your address ends in an odd number, please bring an appetizer. There will be a small craft for the kids. We are asking all attendees to please bring a new, unwrapped toy for Williamson County Brown Santa. The Round Rock Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons detectives and forensic unit specialists are investigating an assault that occurred early Thursday afternoon at a home in the Behrens Ranch subdivision.

The victim, whose name is being withheld, told police that she was alone in her home when a man grabbed her from behind and assaulted her. The suspect fled shortly afterward. The victim was not seriously injured.

The victim was unable to give police any description of the suspect; however, she gave police information that indicates that the assault may be specifically and personally directed at her.

Until the ongoing investigation is concluded, police are not releasing any other details.
