There was a moonbounce and games for the kids. Free popcorn, cookies & drinks. Was this a summer festival? Almost: it was the Behrens Ranch National Night Out!
Some highlights:
- There were approximately 65 to 70 families in attendance
- Contact lists for each separate division in Behrens Ranch were started, so neighbors can contact each other if they see any suspicious activity
- The Mayor of Round Rock attended, along with about 6 members of the RR Police Department and 3 Firefighters with the ladder truck
- The weather was warm, but there was a nice breeze throughout the evening
The next social community event will be a Halloween Festival the weekend before Halloween this year.

Come meet your neighbors and celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7th at 6:30pm at the Amenity Center.
“America’s Night Out Against Crime” is a national event designed to promote crime prevention efforts between the police and the community. From 6:30-8:30pm on August 7th, we invite you to lock your doors, turn on your outside lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and police.
While learning about crime prevention, we’ll have activities (including a moonbounce) & refreshments for the kids. We’ll also be putting together neighborhood contact lists for each of our housing divisions here in Behrens Ranch.
For more details, or to volunteer your help with this event, please contact Tara on the events committee at 246-1594 or events-committee@behrensranch.org
