2007 Keep Texas Fed – Capital Area Food Bank and the Boy Scouts of America 0
Help the Capitol Area Council Boy Scouts of America, Capital Area Food Bank, and H-E-B
feed hungry families in Central Texas.
Cub Scout Pack 365 (based out of Cactus Ranch Elementary) will be collecting canned goods
from Behrens Ranch this Saturday, April 14th starting at 9:00am.
We ask that you place your donation in a location easily seen from the street. Multiple bags are welcome!
The cubscouts will be canvassing the neighborhood and collecting the bags from the porch.
Please fill the bag with non-perishable food donations.
The most requested items are:
Canned meat and fish
Canned vegetables and fruits
Canned prepared foods: soups, stews, chili, ravioli
Dry goods: rice, beans, pasta, cereals
Spaghetti and sauces
Scouting has always stepped up to provide needed service to the community, and there may be no greater need than hunger in
Central Texas. Nearly one in five adults and one in four children in Texas often go hungry, because money is tight. All food collected
will be taken directly to the Round Rock Serving Center to be distributed locally to those Round Rock families in need.
Thank you for your generosity and support!
