There have been some disturbing developments with some recent school board actions. There will be a board meeting at Stony Point High School on Tuesday the 9th. Please make plans to attend if you have children in school (or will be in the next few years).

From a concerned resident:

If you have any interest in the future of Cedar Valley, Stony Point 9, Stony Point High, and Round Rock High, and the Sam Bass area Middle School, be there August 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the RRHS lecture hall to hear the staff presentation on Alderson and Elleson’s option to turn Stony Point 9 into a middle school and redraw district boundaries. Please, PLEASE, be prepared to contact the Board if you care about this matter. When developed, the committee’s final recommendation will have to go through the full Board for action.
